Anthony Lewis

Anthony is a licensed Georgia property and casualty producer and the founder of Haw River Partners. Before insurance, he spent his career in technology, most recently as a Principal Product Manager at Adobe working on growth, AI, and product strategy. He has built companies in insurtech and dental software, which is where the focus on healthcare practices comes from. It is not a market he read about. It is one he has worked in.

He has spent more than seven years working in the Southeast market, grew up in the South, and holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, with earlier studies at North Carolina A&T and UNC Chapel Hill.

A small agency should not mean thin expertise. Haw River Partners is supported by a working advisory bench:

• An insurance operations advisor with carrier and insurance software experience spanning a national carrier and several industry software platforms, and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
• A practicing cybersecurity specialist who informs the risk assessment and the security guidance behind it.
• Agency operations counsel from an independent agency owner with three decades of experience running a successful book.
• Healthcare practice owners who keep the assessment and the advice grounded in how practices actually run.

How we work

We are independent, which means we represent you in the market rather than representing one carrier to you. We start with assessment before quoting, because documented risk gets better terms than guessed risk. And we tell you plainly when a coverage question sits outside what we place, because a straight answer today is worth more than a stretched one.
